Kung Fu

Kung Fu is the general term for Chinese martial arts. It has a multitude of practices, training methods, and benefits ranging from self-defense to overall personal health.

The biggest misconception of Kung Fu is its meaning. Kung Fu means “practiced skill”. It means that a person has put time, patience, lots of effort and study in anything that person wants to do. Therefore, professional basketball players have basketball kung fu. Or professional football players have football kung fu. Artists can have art kung fu. With that in mind, Kung Fu isn’t a style, it is a practice; a way of life. Kung Fu masters take this very seriously.  Practicing one move until perfection is better than being mediocre in a thousand different moves. A student one day during practice said, "it's not 'practice makes perfect', it's 'practice is perfect'."

As you can see below, there are many things to learn in Kung Fu. It includes many parts to the whole that make it so hard to learn.  It is a beautiful art to learn, but a difficult study.  One does not need to master every aspect of Kung Fu, one just needs to begin the training and let it take you to where you need to be. Wei Tuo Kung Fu classes.
