Looking for a Master
If you are looking for a style and a Master, there are several things you must take into account:
1.Does the Master have virtue?
- Does the Master have your best interests at heart or is it money?
- Does the Master help you achieve confidence, strength, power as well as understanding, wisdom, harmony and peace?
2. Does the style match your personality? Some are more aggressive than others. Sometimes if you are an aggressive person, maybe you should learn a softer style. There are many personality traits of yours that need to fit the style.
3. A master's personal abilities and skills are important, but if they don't have virtue, teaching skills, and/or are greedy, you want to stay clear of them. It is the love of the entire art that makes them a master instead of a skilled fighter.
Lastly and very importantly, which has nothing to do with a master but with you, are you willing to Eat Bitter?
